Dirham (Silver, 21 mm, 2.35 g, 11 h), Isfarayin, AH 68[?]. ‘lā ilāha illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); mint and date in the margin. Rev. ‘Hakanu / Ariba / Argunun / Deledkeguluk’, at the side ‘sen’ (‘Struck by Arghun, the vice-regal governor of the Khan’ in Uighur); ‘Isfarāyin’ in Arabic in the middle of the Uighur text; citing ‘Arghūn’ in Arabic above and ‘Ghāzān’ as heir in Arabic below the field.
